Nick Thoen played college ball at Ripon College where he was an All American catcher. He started playing for the Pirates in 1999 with a stint on the Eau Claire Cavs from 2001-2002. He is most famous for performing the crip walk dance and lighting up the Leinie's Honey tap at the Broad Street with other Pirates. He is married to Kate and has a son named Gavin. Recently told the manager of the Holiday Inn down in Austin "You have terrible breathe, it stinks like poop" which immediately got half of the team kicked out of the hotel. |
